Our Community Movement
Founded in 2021, "iHELP" CEOs, Nneka Grimes & Boye Sofidiya have led numerous successful campaigns that have produced real change, both in Alexandria, Virginia and Washington DC throughout the past 15 years. With events, telethons, and online petitions organized by our dedicated members, we work to hold leaders and decision-makers accountable for their actions, moving them to rethink what is possible in the future of our youth and technology.
OUR MISSION
iHelp’s mission is to guide youth ranging from the ages of 13 to 25 in our under-served communities to build, retain and strengthen their social connections while increasing their probability for success in life through advancing their knowledge in technology. We utilize our multiple resources, partnerships and relationships to aid us in our focus to help build our youth into progressive young adults by instilling technological tools strengthen their development.
Advocacy
Advocacy is an essential pillar of our Community Movement. There is strength in numbers, and we work to inform and encourage others to take a stand for what they believe in.
Outreach
As a large movement of activists, Outreach is close to our hearts. We believe that the best solutions for society come from within, and make it our mission to build awareness so that this is a possibility across the globe.
Immersion Learning Experience
iHELP has put together technological workshops using the Metaverse. These virtual transportable environments successes are driven by the hearts, minds, and souls of our community. Come and join us.
